Apple's iWork '09
Seven months shy of two years, Apple updates its productivity suite to version ‘09. Keynote, Pages, and Numbers all sport some refinements – Pages gains a full screen view, dynamic outlines, mail merge with Numbers; Numbers adds easy formulas, formula list view, table categories, and advanced charts; and, Keynote gains magic move, more transitions, chart animations, and Keynote remote. Also, there...

Apple's iLife '09
When I first got myself a Mac, iLife blew me away! The sheer simplicity and convenience of having a one stop multimedia suit that integrated with everything else Mac was awesome. In a few steps, I’m able to build a website, make music, cut a movie, burn a dvd and catalogue photos! Smart Folders – an often unexplored and inadequately maximized feature of most Apple applications – is a breeze...

Dean Koontz's The Husband
Still on the light reading path after Michael Crichton’s State of Fear. This time going back to one of my old haunts – Dean Koontz. Koontz came late into my book life in college when I was still enamored with anything Stephen King, Clive Barker and Peter Straub. I did a couple of pow wows with my small team I put in...

The Rosewood Project: Living Room, Series 01
Here is a picture of my living room before I moved in. It’s been six months since that time, so I’ve managed to pimp it a few. Still though, some folks who visit say I still need to do some work on lighting and on color. This is how my living room looks like now…

The iPod Nano Cometh!
To my hands, that is. Haha! Yup. I finally succumbed to the force called Apple and their voodoo charm that makes you want what they have even when YOU DON’T NEED IT! And because I told myself I didn’t need it anyway, I should save on the specs – and got myself an 8G model instead of the 16G model! Ack! But hey! It’s a new year anyway! Give the guy a break! Haha!
I got myself the silver model...

Your Best Year Ever Is 2009!
In 2009, there won’t be a Best Year Ever – at least in terms of the planner I designed earlier with two other partners, three if you count the graphic artist who helped render in adobe our earlier materials. The YBYE (Your Best Year Ever) Planners was a project under a still unset-upped business called BLANK. The YBYE Planner attempted to put together several technologies in productivity...
